But, regardless of the temperature, staying hydrated is a daily requirement. Unfortunately, many of us, particularly older individuals, do not drink enough. Older folks do not feel thirst as strongly as they formerly did. And this could be a concern if they’re using a diuretic or another drug that causes fluid loss.

Remember that sugary drinks can cause weight gain and inflammation, increasing your chance of developing diseases like diabetes. Caffeine can give you the jitters or prevent you from sleeping. In addition, ladies should limit their alcohol consumption to one drink each day.
