Early Life
Nick Jonas was born on September 16, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, to Denise (née Miller) and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. He has three older brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie. His father is a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church, while his mother is a former sign language teacher and singer. Jonas was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and homeschooled by his mother.

In 2000, Jonas started acting in theater productions, making his stage debut in Annie Get Your Gun. He also appeared in Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, and Les Misérables.
